Vivian Paredes Aponte

Specialist in trade and environment currently works as Specialist in International  Forest Trade at the General Directorate on Forest and Wildlife of Peru. She represents Peru as international negotiator in the negotiations rounds of Free Trade Agreements; the implementation of the environmental chapters in the subscribed agreements; and in environmental related fora as WTO and APEC. She has also worked for the Ombdusman in environmental related mining issues and offered legal consultancies for Law Firms and NGOs in biotrade opportunities, forest concessions legislation and management, Environmental Impact Assessments for mining and hydrocarbon projects and resolution of environmental conflicts. Lawyer by the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (2006), Certified by the University of Harvard in International Trade Policies, Graduated in Environmental Law and Natural Resources Mangement by the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (2008) and Graduated in Human Rights by the University Ricardo Palma (2006).
