Yale University, MBA, concentration in finance (1990). Amherst College, BA in physics (1984). Prior to University of Michigan, had 17-year investment banking career in municipal finance, waste-to-energy project finance, affordable housing finance, and commercial real estate finance (Lehman Brothers, GE Capital and Jones Lang LaSalle). Pursuing career as a project developer, aggregator or private equity investor in triple-bottom-line LULUCF-based carbon offset projects and other payment for ecosystem services transactions, including biodiversity and water projects.
