Noviansyah Manap

Noviansyah is an expert on Sustainable Agriculture Development, People-Centred Approach, and CHAINS APPROACH (especially for paddy) with vast experience in civil society organizations and sustainable economic development works. He has worked seven years in local and international NGOs in Indonesia. He has experience on developing sustainable agriculture system in several agro-ecosystems (highland, lowland, swampland, and de-forestation areas) in Indonesia to improve economic farmer conditions. He has experience on developing market access for agriculture products for small rural producers (SRPs), Sustainable Livelihood and Market Access Development activities.

He has participated several international trainings on: Sustainable Agriculture Training of Trainers (Chiangmai, Thailand July 2002, Rural Development Management (Philippines November 2003), Agro-enterprise Development for Rural Areas (Vietnam October 2004), Result Assessment for Project Management (The Hague, July 2006), Organic Rice Fair Trade: Building The Grass Root Capacity, (Bangkok-Chiang Mai, September 2006), Organic Fair Trade: Quality Assurance (As Facilitator, Jogjakarta, April 2007), Organic Fair Trade: Market Access (As Facilitator, Bali March 2008).

Mr. Noviansyah has a field and managerial experience as Program Office on Sustainable Economic Development at Hivos Southeast Asia Regional Office – Funding Agencies from Netherlands - Managing Sustainable Production and Financial Services and Enterprises Development portfolio; working four years with CRS Indonesia as Project Officer on Sustainable Agriculture Program and Market Access Development Advisor; before, he was an Independence Consultant for Organic Farming and Municipal Waste Management.
