I work at the Environmental Defense Fund in Washington, DC, where I help create better policies, rules, and protocols for accounting for GHG emissions from working lands. I work on wetland restoration projects in Louisiana, offset policy in US legislation, and the arcana of LULUCF in international negotiations. I did my PhD research in New Zealand, where I looked at the potential for indigenous landowners to benefit from carbon markets, through reforestation of marginal pasture lands.
