Ms. Wirth, a LEED AP, is Project Manager for the Energy & Environmental Asset Group (EEAG) at LandVest, Inc. headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts. As part of the EEAG team, Jan works with public, private, and corporate landowners and investors all over the United States, to understand current and future land use, acquisition, and disposition options. These alternatives may include the potential for renewable energy such as wind, solar, and biofuels and market opportunities associated with environmental assets such as water conservation, wetland banking, biodiversity protection, and carbon capture and storage. Projects include forest carbon aggregation in New England, natural capital assessments of properties throughout the US, and a new farmland/forestland aggregation. Ms. Wirth's team includes land planners, conservation planners, appraisers, and advisors with broad experience in large-scale land conservation.
