M&S Unveils Plan to Protect 5,000 Acres of the Amazon

Marks and Spencer has launched a major new initiative to protect more than a million trees in the Amazon, after signing a deal with Cornish charity Cool Earth.

Cool Earth works in some of the world's most endangered rainforest, paying indigenous people a higher price to manage forests sustainably than the price they would get for clearing forests through illegal logging or creating palm oil or cattle plantations.
